Colmar 2026 (Alsace)
From 11 to 14 October 2026 I spent a few days in Colmar in Alsace. The old town is made for photography: colourful half-timbered houses, winding alleys and lots of small details on every corner.

Eguisheim 2026 (Alsace)
In October 2026 we spent a few days travelling in Alsace. First stop: Eguisheim, a small wine village a few kilometres south of Colmar. The lanes wind in rings around the castle in the centre of the village – behind every bend there is another half-timbered house with colourful shutters and lavish flower displays.
On the castle square stand the Saint-Léon chapel and the fountain with the statue of Pope Leo IX, who was born here. I was also delighted by the small details – right down to the teddy bears climbing up a house facade.

Edinburgh – Holidays in June 2026
In June 2026 I spent a few unforgettable days in Edinburgh. The Scottish capital won me over with its impressive architecture, historic lanes and special atmosphere.
On this page I show a selection of my favourite photos. They were taken on walks through the Old Town and the New Town, on a visit to Edinburgh Castle and at many other places worth seeing. I was also fascinated by the small details, the viewpoints and the lively city life.
