Hello and welcome!

My name is Walter, I live in Ennenda in the canton of Glarus, and I'm out and about with my camera as often as possible. I don't have a favorite subject – I'm drawn to the variety: birds in the Kaltbrunner Riet wetlands, the starry sky above the Klausen Pass, experiments with light and movement, black and white photographs, or impressions from my trips to Edinburgh, London, or the Netherlands.

I'm not a professional, but a passionate amateur photographer and a member of the Glarus Photo Club. I shoot with a Sony Alpha 7 IV and edit in Lightroom. Not every picture is perfect, but each one tells a little story. And if one doesn't appeal to you, just click on the next one.

A good photograph is one that you look at for more than a second.
